Roda Golf Beach Club

Roda Golf & Beach Club is a very special place and one unique feature available to you, is your very own private Beach Club. Situated on La Manga beside the Mediterranean coast, it is easily reached by a short boat trip across the shallow lagoon, the Mar Menor.

You can unwind in many different ways, by swimming in the warm sea, trying one of the numerous water sports on offer or just relaxing by the swimming pool with a cool drink.

The Beach club boasts a swimming pool with jacuzzi, changing rooms, a “chill out” area with incredible views over the Mediterranean, food and drink, cocktails, direct access to the beach with water sports nearby.

The swimming pool, beach and changing rooms will be open from 10.30 am to 8.00 pm from Monday to Sunday. The Bar & Restaurant services will also be open every day from 10.30 am to 1.00 am. Reservations are recommended for lunch or dinner on 968 147 353.

Transfers to the Beach Club are arranged by Roda Golf customer service.
There will be a bus + ferry service available to make your day out more pleasurable and comfortable. It will depart from the golf car park and will circle the resort, taking you to Santiago de la Ribera where you will take the ferry to Puerto Tomás Maestre, and from there, a bus will transport you to the Beach Club. With over 10 local dive sites of Interest to choose from and all In only a short minibus or boat ride away you will be spoilt for choice. La Manga offers divers of all experience levels great diving.

Shore dives for the Qualified
We have a variety of different dive sites around La Manga in the Mediterranean Sea, which have an abundance of marine life, shoals of smaller fish, good rock formations, and swim-throughs where the visibility is around 10-15 metres and is on the edge of the cabo de Palos marine reserve. Average depth is around 10 metres.

Cabo De Palos, Cala Fria
On the very tip of cabo de palos lies the rocky bays of cala fria, one of which faces N/E and two facing S/W. These are very interesting dive sites as they have some good rock formations and swimthroughs which are home to scorpion fish, octopus, small groupers and colourful wrasse. In the shallow confines of the bays lies fields of oceanic gorgonia which brings shoals of salema, sergeant fish, wrasse etc .The maximum depth of the bays is 18 metres where you can find large rocks full of corals and can occasionally see barracuda, green and brown wrasse in open waters.
